Hey.

My name is Charlotte, I am a Graphic Designer based in the United Kingdom. I aim to help ambitious, disruptive people to communicate their message, so they can achieve their full  potential. I want to make a difference to people’s lives in the way they interact and engage with design.

For this project I aimed to improve the communities in which we live and work and intern help transform the wider world.

I seeked to achieve this through the promotion of social vulnerability, human centred design that will enable and inspire people to change their lives and the lives of those around them for the better.

Here I am trying to represent the missing time and information that students have lost, based on their attendance and how much time students lose from being late.

I created this black hole idea, where places that feature or share information and being swallowed by a back hole. Text, images and information are being covered, by a black spot. It is representing the lost information that people will not have access too, due to the individual being late or absent.

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

I created an awareness campaign due to the rise of this subject among many people of my age group.

This Unit is to strengthen my understanding to the fundamental principles of Graphic Design. Beazley Designs of the Year is the museums annual global competition to identify the most innovative designs of the previous 12 months.

A Third Place is a term that is used to describe a community building that has some sort of social surroundings e.g. a coffee shop.

People are much more relaxed and comfortable, their behavior is therefor not a reaction or a task they must complete, it is pure leisure.

How can I use design to benefit these urban areas, or even a coffee shop?

Music is a powerful tool that can provide the perfect outlet for opinions, emotions, world views and even epitomise the political climate.

Some of the biggest social and political movements hold a music moment behind them.Typography can express rhythm, culture, local aesthetics, traditions, humour, quirks, places and people - in any language.

How might we support displaced individuals to find hope, dignity and safety to rebuild their lives?

Refugees: a person who has received legal permission to permanently live in another country due to conflict, war or the threat of persecution in their country of origin.

How can I make a change?
